The heart & soul of stories. . .
begins with people. Life stories and life-changing journeys. I’ve spent a career telling these stories that’s taken me to amazing places. I co-created the Washington Post Magazine’s “First Person Singular” column—a lens on life stories. I persuaded well-known subjects to be interviewed and produced these and other features and profiles stories for magazines, newspapers, radio, and digital outlets. As editor of a regional lifestyle magazine, and contributor to national publications and media outlets, I’ve traveled far and wide in search of stories about people and place. I’m always on a quest—for story.
